About me

Hello, there! I am Mirna, and I’m thrilled to share part of my journey through food and data with you. Originally from the enchanting city of Ravenna in Italy (link), Cambridge, MA, in the United States, is now my home.

With a passion for the culinary arts, I honed my skills as a certified baker and pastry chef, graduating from the esteemed IAL Culinary School of Cervia and the Hotel Catering School of Cervia, Italy.

While my first love was the culinary world, my later academic pursuits have taken me on an exciting path as well. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management, delving deeper into the strategic and organizational aspects of running a business.

In addition, I completed a HarvardX Professional Certificate in Data Science, and I have enthusiastically participated in various MOOC courses.  You can find more details on my LinkedIn profile (here).

You might be wondering about the friendly face in the photo. That’s me alongside Maestro Morri in Rimini, at Arte Dolce, where I had the opportunity to refine my craft in Easter chocolate egg decoration. The photo captures a fond memory of that wonderful experience.

Through my blog, I aim to share my culinary adventures, insights, and expertise, and perhaps even uncover some delightful surprises along the way.

Thank you for being here, and I look forward to connecting with you soon!
